I love my customers!

I love the feeling you get when a regular customer comes back for another piece. One of my customers (lets call her May) has bought a number of pieces from me – and she asked for a special piece – a long necklace with hollow beads.

This is the piece I made for her – shown here and below as a work in progress.

The piece was mailed to her, and she came back to me to tell me how delighted she is with the necklace. Its long enough to wear as a double or triple string, and the colours are fabulous.

Thank you May!

Tangerine and Forest Green hollows…

2101 plus earrings-1

Just listed in my Shop – lively vibrant colours and contrasts with blown hollows!

The main beads are blown hollow glass beads.  Hollow glass beads are lighter and the transparent hollows refract and reflect the light off the inner and outer surfaces to add life and sparkle.  The satin black hollows have been sandblasted to create a gorgeous contrast in texture.

The necklace also has long tube beads and glass rings over the tube beads and spacers.  The main beads are separated with small glass pea beads and seed beads so that the necklace is flexible and supple, so it sits just so and feels great when you wear it.

The matching earrings have forest green and etched satin black beads hanging form sterling silver ear hooks.

Turquoise and Silver

2214-1

2215-2

I have a long term love affair with turquoise and silver – in fact it was my love of turquoise and silver that got me into this jewellery making business – long story!

These two pieces are a blast from the past.  I was cleaning out bits and bobs when I came across a stash of turquoise and silver – enough for these two lovelies!
